Summer Reading Letter 2022

One goal of the Barrington Middle School is to assist your child in becoming a lifelong reader. The summer months provide the perfect opportunity to enrich your child’s reading experiences.

This summer all middle school students entering grades six and seven are required to read one (1) book from this list and one (1) book of their choice. They will fill out this assignment (it will direct you to make a copy for yourself) for both books.

All middle school students entering grade eight are required to read the first 181 pages of Dry by Neal and Jarrod Shusterman and complete this assignment, and one (1) book of their choice from this list and complete the assignment (it will direct you to make a copy for yourself).

Both Barrington Public Library and Barrington Books have been notified of all the titles on the BMS Summer Reading List.

Happy Summer Reading!
